CUSTOM MAINTENANCE COMPANY

Custom Maintenance, has been serving primarily San Mateo County for over 40 years. In 1987, Rich Cresci and Eugene "Skip" Bianucci formed a partnership and purchased Custom Maintenance, a company established in the early 1970's.

 

With no advertising, other than a small ad in the Yellow Pages, our business grew by 75% in the first 2 years. After 5 years, our growth was 130%. Virtually all of this growth is attributed to the many referrals from our expanding list of satisfied customers. As Condominium living grew by leaps and bounds in the 80's and 90's, our growth introduced us to several property management companies. Currently working with and for 17 of these companies, HOA's now account for about 95% of our business. Our experience with common area cleaning has proven to be a great asset in assisting property managers and HOA Board members, designing janitorial specifications to best fit their complex.

A key to our success and growth has been to pay our responsible and reliable employees more than our competitors, insuring both dedication and motivation. About half of our 20 employees have been with us for over 10 years, and 2 of them have over 20 years. Great employees, along with the proper amount of supervision, equals quality results.

Motivated employees, who take pride in their work, are key in maintaining a successful service business. We have owners, supervisors and employees all working towards the same goal, CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.
